COVID-19 Vaccines at USC

Vaccines are crucial tools in the fight against deadly infectious diseases. COVID-19 vaccines are available to USC students, faculty, and staff through USC Student Health and USC Pharmacies. Los Angeles County also has public site appointments for vaccines throughout the county.

COVID-19 Testing

Pop Testing, the surveillance “population testing” program, is offered by USC Student Health for USC faculty, staff, students and approved campus residents and contractors. Saliva collection is used for specimen analysis. See the Pop Testing Hours and Locations page for instructions and details, including take-home kits and scheduled drop-off of samples.

Tests are PCR (polymerase chain reaction) and resulting typically returns in 24 hours; Keck Medicine of USC Clinical Laboratories is providing the laboratory services for this program. Log in using your USC NetID and password.

  • Schedule your test through the secure health records portal, MySHR.
  • For users new to the portal, please see the Quick Guide for MySHR.

Note for individuals who have recovered from COVID-19: Individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 should not be tested within 90 days of their original positive test, as results may not accurately reflect their current health status.
