We are advising the community about a cluster of several dozen positive cases of COVID-19 in the USC community that can be traced back to recent international travel into California, including multiple cases confirmed to be variants. If you have recently traveled to popular spring break destinations, we strongly recommended that you:
1) adhere to the state-required quarantine of 10 days when entering California from another state or country; and
2) schedule an appointment for Pop Testing within three to five days of returning to Los Angeles.
USC COVID-19 contact tracing teams are working with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health to investigate and track cases and mitigate spread in the community.
Regular testing on the twice weekly schedule for undergraduates and weekly schedule for faculty, staff, and graduate students is strongly recommended for any individuals living in the vicinities around campuses or coming to campus for work or other scheduled activity.
